Programs and Activities😉​

A weekend-long retreat that allows teens to form a relationship with Jesus. July 13-15, 2018 A weekend-long seminar that strengthens one’s relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. (February)
March 2-4, 2018
  •               YOUTH RALLY              ​            
A seminar that encourages positive parent-child relationships.                  
(Every Other Year in November) Alternates with Washing of the Feet.
  • WASHING OF THE FEET             
A seminar that encourages humility, forgiveness and faithfulness.              (Every Other Year in November)
Alternates with Youth Rally.              A program that teaches the importance of using praise songs in                worship. (May)
A program that trains the youth to become teachers of the Word of God. (Every Other Year)
  • WEEKLY FRIDAY WORSHIPS 💙​
            Weekly Friday worships honoring our Lord through prayers and               songs. (Every Friday except 1st Friday of the Month)             Specific teachings that foster spiritual growth, life-lessons, and                 positive relationships. (Usually 2nd Friday  after Worship)
  • BATTLE OF THE CLASSES (BOTC)
            A friendly sports competition between different YE classes.                       (September)             The Youth Ministry, along with the entire BLD Community, joins                    this event in Washington D.C. to support Pro-Life and to celebrate              the Roe vs. Wade Anniversary. (January)

 YOUTH INTER-DISTRICT CONFERENCE (YIDC)💙​
​A national conference that gathers different BLD youth districts. (Every 2 years)
August 10-12, 2018

YOUTH DISTRICT OUTREACH SUPPORT/PARISH ASSISTANCE     
Assists other BLD Youth Ministries in their activities, such as YE or YLSS.

                                                             BLD MEDICAL MISSION                                                                     
Supports BLD’s medical mission in the Philippines.

                                                             PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN (PGC)                                                                         
A mandatory teaching for youths ages 18 years and older.
             
                                                    SOUP KITCHEN                                                               
A yearly mealtime service to the people in need of help. (May)

                                                                            NURSING HOME VISITATION                                                                                     
                                                                A yearly visit to the residents of a nursing home. (December)

​YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY  
A Christmas celebration with the Youth Ministry. (December)

             BLD MASS SPONSORSHIP/HEALING MASS                    
A yearly sponsorship of a BLD healing mass. The ministry provides readers,
​praise, altar servers, Eucharistic ministers. (November)
