An Invitation to Youth Encounter Weekend 😍

The Youth Encounter (YE) is a weekend retreat that provides youths with an opportunity to grow in faith among their peers. It hopes to support and help the youth live a Christ-centered life.

The YE is hosted by the Youth Ministry of Bukas Loob Sa Diyos (BLD) Newark, which is a charismatic community within the Archdiocese of Newark

This retreat weekend is open to all youths from ages 14 to 19 years old. It begins on Friday, July 17 at 5:00 pm and will end on Sunday, July 19 at 4:30 pm. This is an overnight stay retreat (Friday and Saturday night). Rooms and meals will be provided with the cost of registration. For youths under the age of 18, a Parent/guardian consent waiver will be required and sent to you in a separate email.

Early Bird Candidate Registration is $150* until May 31, 2026, 11:59 pm EST

*Registration fees cover the cost of room stay for Friday and Saturday night, as well as meals for Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Sunday breakfast/lunch. Standard registration fee of $175 applies after May 31, 2026.
